BRAND STRATEGY: Sercel – Ahead of the Curve
Sercel, a France-based seismic acquisition company, was in need of a rebrand to better position themselves a technology leader in the marketplace – an undisputed fact at the time, but one not understood by their target audience. Tony developed the “Ahead of the Curve” tagline to convey Sercel’s pioneering, leadership role and used elliptical curves as graphic elements to not only reinforce the tagline visually but to also represent radiating seismic waves, fundamental to Sercel’s technology. “Ahead of the Curve” has become synonymous with Sercel’s brand and the tag line continues in use still to this day along with the “Anywhere. Anytime. Everytime.” tag line, created by Tony for Sercel’s print advertising.
